Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Database Analyst based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing our readiness databases, utilizing your strong skills in Microsoft Office and your comprehensive understanding of Surface Warfare readiness issues. This role is critical in improving our understanding of fleet readiness issues and generating ships for tasking.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and optimize Surface Force readiness databases to enhance our ability to generate ships for tasking.

• Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office to analyze and interpret data, with a focus on Surface Warfare readiness issues.

• Assist in designing and managing databases to ensure efficient and accurate operations.

• Analyze specific metrics within the PESTONI pillars of analysis to aid decision-making.

• Develop data visualization tools and predictive models to assist decision-makers at all levels.

• Maintain a broad understanding of Surface Force’s business practices, primary data sources, secondary data needs, and data gaps.

• Use your skills in Database Object, Database System, DB2 Database, Microsoft, AB Testing, and Backup Technologies to enhance our data analysis capabilities.

• Collaborate with team members to create dashboards and utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to present data in an understandable format.

• Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all data analysis to support complex projects.

• Employ your skills in data analysis to develop comprehensive understanding of fleet readiness issues. Requirements • Proficiency in CRM systems is paramount for this role.

• Extensive knowledge of Database Objects and Database Systems.

• Familiarity with DB2 Database and Microsoft suite of products.

• Experience with AB Testing is a requirement.

• Proficiency in Backup Technologies is necessary.

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is essential.

• Ability to create dashboards for data visualization.
