Job Title: Engineer In Training (EIT)

Job Description:

The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to work independently when necessary. As an EIT, you will perform a variety of site engineering tasks, supporting various project managers and collaborating with team members. You will receive both on-the-job and formal training and exposure to plan production.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a similar field.

• 1-2 years of applicable work experience strongly preferred.

• EI or EIT certification or the ability to quickly obtain certification.

• Knowledge of residential drainage design.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.

• Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment..

• Ability to work independently and as a team.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation and/or GIS.

• Must be familiar with the new Stormwater regulations for design and calculations as well as in residential and commercial site plans.

• The ability to conduct cost estimating is a necessity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
