Job Description:

ASRC Federal is seekingan experienced Senior Data Engineer in support ofongoing efforts to enhance and maintain reporting and data analytics efforts. This role is a remote position.

Key Role:

Support the analysis, report creation and data engineering necessary to optimize the consumption of all internal data within ASRC Federal. In this role, you will be leading the design, development, and deployment of business analytics dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau and building ETL pipelines in Azure Synapse.The ideal candidate will have previous corporate analytic experience with HR and Financial models.

*Responsibilities:  *

• Understand business requirements and design data models to convert raw data to meaningful insights

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI / Tableau data flowsto support analysis.

• Create dashboards and visual reports using Power BI / Tableau features.

• Analyze data and present it through reports that can help in decision-making.

• Create charts and document data with algorithms, parameters, models, and relations explanations.

• IntegratePowerBI/ Tableau data with Azure Synapse

• Collect, audit, compile, andvalidate data from multiple sources.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8years of experience with 3 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics using MS PowerBI or Tableau.

• Bachelor’s Degree. Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Software Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline is preferred.  

• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, team members and outside vendorsregarding application operations and management are required.

• Must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Certifications in Power BI andTableau.

• Cloud experiencespecifically Azure.

• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).

• Experience with building APIs.
