Eaton Corporation Junior Digital Engineer in Spain
As Junior Digital Engineer you will bring domain expertise to contribute to following areas of activity of Eaton Software Digital based projects. You will support senior engineer with technical scope definition and clarification when needed at pre-sales stage and Senior/Lead Engineers to produce and/or validate engineering documentation. It is required to coordinate Software site deployment and testing (including onsite works when needed) with Senior/Lead Engineers.
What you’ll do:
Support Senior Engineers to resolve escalated technical support requests related to area of expertise.
Provide L1 and support L2 technical support with support from Senior engineers
Design technical scope including initial system architecture design, system topology drawing, hardware BOM, proposed project schedule and detailed solution description (EPMS/DCIM/SCADA/PSA projects in EMEA)
Interact with other EATON technical teams and third parties to submit engineering deliverables being part of project scope to Senior Engineers
Work in close collaboration with Sales and Project Management teams to manage scope variations, highlight technical risks and propose risk mitigation actions reporting to Senior Engineers
Support Senior Engineers to define SW deployment work method statement and validation criteria to be executed onsite by local team, 3rd party or by the SW engineer him/herself (when required)
Support Senior/Lead Engineers for L1/L2 Software technical support requests escalated from clients
Travel for site-visits or customer meetings
Support Lead/Senior Engineers to perform internal and external technical presentations and training initiatives
Contribute to engineering deliverables, processes and tools standardization within Engineering service team
Is responsable for network connection and architecture drawings for all software digital projects delivery by using AutoCAD and MS Visio
Amend and update drawings when required
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science/Power management/Electrical engineering/EE/STEM related subjects
Experience with AutoCAD and Visio software
Understanding the priciple of power distribution system including MV/LV switchgear, Transformer, UPS and EPMS/DCIM/SCADA system is a plus
Software and hardware knowledge of PLC, HMI, Network Infrastruction, IED programming and logic control concept is a plus
Experince with Power system automation software, Energy power management system, Data Center Infrastructure management is a plus

Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Time management skills - online meeting with colleagues/vendors/subcontractors located at different time zone (US, Canada,Netherlands, UK, Africa, Saudi Arabia, Asian, Australia)
Ability to work will multiple cultures
Strong safety mindset and the fortitude to STOP unsafe practices when that could impact other important deliverables
Right to work and travel in EU
A valid driver's license
