Job Description:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the firm’s accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
Respond to external vendors and internal departments regarding all aspects of the accounts payable process
Review check requests and invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing
Process invoices and check requests in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain vendor files and ensure all records are up to date
Accurately review, code, and match accounts payable daily transactions
Review automatic payments to ensure correct coding, authorization, and proper supporting documentation
Assist with special accounts payable projects as needed
Support financial managers with ad hoc tasks and reporting
Maintain confidentiality of organizational and financial information
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is a plus
1 – 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (C1 or C2 English)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Drive
Knowledge of relevant accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Clio
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to maintaining a high level of work ethic
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
