Oracle Business Analyst 2-Ops in Romania
Job Description
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Responsibilities
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Projects Support
Projects set up and maintenance
T&E adjustment support, backlog maintenance, invoice generation and approval
Accounts receivable management and reporting
Support forecast variance analysis for each project
Track, analyze and monitor project accounting transactions and reporting around work-at-risk and work-in-progress
Assist in transacting credit memo processing and ensure credit/rebill activities are done correctly
Monitor project unbilled activity and assist in resolution
Support day-to-day operations for the business unit
Coordinate roll-out of new business processes and systems
Build relationships with key contacts in business units
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Functional experience in various Oracle Applications preferred, including Oracle Projects, Oracle Accounts Receivables
Experience in supporting commercial, financial, administrative and other aspects of a Professional Services delivery organization
Experience in working with multi-cultural and remote contacts required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and has ability to track the progress of multiple inquiries and tasks effectively
Additional Details of the role and responsibilities for this specific position:
Oracle PFM system knowledge. Skilled.
Use of DV reporting tool. Basic knowledge is OK.
SKU Bookings (funding)
Monitor Backlog : Inactive, un-used, not forecasted. Clear project list (close and debook)
Periodic Revenue reviews with PMs. Bi-weekly or monthly.
Create new TCS projects (approx. 100 new projects per Qtr)
Validate and update Customer Data and Contract terms, Special Invoicing requirements
Maintain Non Billable tasks and Create Internal projects (ITM and ITMFC), requests approvals. Approx 10 requests per Qtr
Keep track, report and troubleshoot missing time with impacted consultant(s)
Reminders, support PMs with EAC and Certification submission.
Monitor and report UBR : Work with PM and Collections team to chase payments
Reminders to PM on FP Acceptance deliverables and events for Invoicing, TM Invoice approvals, action on special requirements Invoices.
Provide PM with WIP and financial data, additional data for Invoices (details)
Project Closure : Process and request Final Invoice. Submit closure template
Balance Invoiced and Accrued
Support Forecasting process and work with Finance on data for manual JEs where applicable
Upload PABs (TCS projects have a high volume of Support and Development resources assisting delivery)
Write offs (Post WAR not covered, De bookings)
Work with Internal teams, i.e. Collections: Credit Memos and Re bills, Follow up on Unpaid Invoices, Cash basis projects (report to PM, Sales, account managers and/or other impacted Oracle LOBs)
Support new PMs: internal tools, process and policies.
