As a Business Systems Analyst, Sr within PNC's Enterprise Architecture organization, you will be based in one of PNC's Technology Hub locations (Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Cleveland, OH, Farmers Branch, TX, Phoenix, AZ). Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Job Description

This position on the Architecture Modeling team within Enterprise Architecture will partner with technology leaders, SMEs, and architects to support strategic efforts for transforming modeling processes. Additionally, they will partner with development teams to coordinate updates to architecture applications supporting the Enterprise. In this role, they will draw upon their business and technology experience to partner with key stakeholders to ensure that the strategic business capability needs, technology perspectives, and roadmaps are well crafted, presented, and achieve consensus. They will be required to understand complex business and system interactions to develop and modify process documentation supporting modeling activities and initiative status updates for senior leadership.

Key deliverables in partnership with the other stakeholders are:

• Support the creation of strategic roadmaps that align with enterprise strategies, business objectives, enterprise standards, processes and methodologies.

• Assist Enterprise Architects and technology partners in driving business outcomes though effective requirements gathering and coordination.

• Provide ongoing support for handling data and system support requests.

• Influence at multiple levels of the organization and multiple priorities to continue to make progress.

• Facilitate the development of application enhancements through creation of user stories and prioritize the backlog in alignment with business goals and objectives.

Some key desired skills:

• Proven experience in strategic thinking, analysis & planning, and reporting.

• Experience using Jira and Confluence is preferred.

• Ability to work in a dynamic environment across lines of businesses.

• Experience working in financial services organizations.

• Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills.

• Experience using Tableau or Power BI for data visualization is desirable.

• Knowledge of Project Management or Agile methodologies and frameworks is desirable.

Job Description

  • Participates in analyzing business requirements and production specifications for changes made to technology applications.

  • Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes .

  • Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results .

  • Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes .

  • Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group .
