This position would require a hybrid work schedule of 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote out of our Brentwood, TN office location.
The Senior Business Systems Administrator, BSS is responsible for the oversight, management, and resolution of help desk tickets related to the Business Systems Support applications and related operational systems. This position also acts as a vendor liaison to CoreCivic's application vendors GTL, Dynamic Imaging and Allscripts and is responsible for communicating technical issues back to the vendors’ helpdesks and development teams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The incumbent should be able to perform all the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the actual job performance requirements.
Provides real-time help desk support for facilities live on CoreCivic's industry-specific suite of applications and related operational systems.
Provides setup, installation support, upgrades and maintenance for CoreCivic's industry-specific suite of applications and related operational systems team.
Performs root cause/effect and analysis for incident resolution.
Troubleshooting capability relating to connectivity and transaction support.
Ensures availability of supported technology. Participates in afterhours on call rotation.
Maintains relationships with customer departments and ensures all support is provided in the context of assisting application users to succeed in their business goals.
Manages problems or request tickets from users and resolves Tier 2 support issues to ensure a positive user experience.
Follows the CoreCivic program management methodology and works collaboratively with all team members.
Domestic U.S. travel may be required.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Operations Management or related field is required.
Additional years of related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Five years of related experience required.
Experience with IIS and Power BI is preferred.
Experience supporting GTL’s Offender Management System, and/or Allscripts Touchworks electronic medical record system preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Windows Server 2012 – 2016, writing advanced queries and stored procedures, Crystal Reports 2008 or higher, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL is required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
