    To strengthen our team in Zhangjiagang , we are looking for you as a(n) Sr. Process Development Engineer.

Job Responsibilties:

  • Conduct feasibilities and technology studies for R&D projects, compliance projects, de-bottlenecking projects, process improvement, new processes using existing or new technologies

  • Participate in the transfer of technology from lab to commercial production. Involve early in the process development stage with R&D group to ensure the process could be smooth scale up to

commercial scale Study and introduce new technologies, technical solutions

  • Conduct process simulations to support the development work

  • Assure the transfer of technologies from other regions and global HQ

  • Clarify and align operational feasibility of technology options with manufacturing and R&D teams

  • Conduct process selection based on economical calculation (CAPEX and OPEX)

  • Initiate, supervise and support necessary pilot tests in close cooperation with R&D and manufacturing teams

  • Prepare the FEED process package for project execution which includes new technology selection,

process simulation, PFD's, mass and energy balances sheets Initiate the collection and measurement of required safety data needed for process scale up and process hazard analysis

  • Provide necessary inputs during process hazard analysis

  • Communicate with process experts as window person for relevant technical issues and technical support related to process development projects

  • Provide technical support during production start-up including troubleshooting

  • other tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications Required:

Educational background:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in chemical engineering, chemistry or process engineering

  • Over 3 years working experience in the chemical industry or engineering companies active in the chemical industry

  • Over 3 years working experience in process engineering related areas; silicon industry experience is preferred

Skills:

  • Familiar with chemical process engineering tools like ASPEN engineering suite, equipment design and CFD

  • Familiar with chemical unit operations, equipment and machinery used in the chemical industry

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, official specifications, regulations and technical instructions

  • Effective communication skills in English (oral and writing) are expected

  • Strong and effective communication, decision-making, problem

  • solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Good organizational and analytical abilities

  • Strong spirit of teamwork

  • Willingness to continuously build knowledge and broaden skills

  • High flexibility, high sense of responsiveness, open mindedness
