job summary:

We are seeking an Autodesk Inventor drafter in Wallingford, CT, responsible for revising existing drawings and preparing new ones from clear instructions or sketches. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality drafts, primarily supporting T&D projects. Autodesk Inventor experience is required; knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation and other software is a plus.

responsibilities:

• Revise existing drawings and create new drawings based on detailed instructions or sketches.

• Plot drawings and ensure they comply with company and client standards.

• Follow the quality procurement process and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy in drawings.

• Work collaboratively with the project team to produce high-quality deliverables.

• Adapt to new client standards and be open to learning new software programs as needed (e.g., Civil 3D, PLS-CAD).

• Must have experience and knowledge of Autodesk Inventor software.

• A background in T&D substation projects is ideal

• Experience in handling multiple tasks and working in a fast-paced environment.
