We are seeking
FAA AandP Certified Mechanics/Technicians.

If so, Our Defense Systems Sector wants you to join our team as a SCA Aircraft Mechanic 2.
This position is located at Robins AFB, GA, and requires you to work on site daily as well as working any shift as needed, when needed.
$30-$34 per hour. While on travel, you will typically receive at a minimum, per diem and/or additional compensation dependent upon location. Relocation assistance may be available
Position also
requires
being deployed across CONUS as well as internationally/OCONUS deployedfor periods of up to
180days to support
operations when required, to backfill staffing needs, or when USAF customer requirements dictate.
Once employed for the role
- must be willing and able to do required travel within 72 hours of notification of the travel.
**This position is a Service Contract Act position.
Duties include:
1.Perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replace, re-assembly, and adjustment of all aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
2.Execute
line-maintenance/flightoperations support for BACN E-11A (Global Express and Global 6000) aircraft including all electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, fault isolation and repair, parts replacement, line repairable unit (LRU) replacement, calibration tasks, testing, engine repairs and/or replacements and proper documentation in aircraft forms (Air Force Form 781 series).
3.Maintain FAA required records, manuals, and inspection forms
4.Conduct all levels of maintenance and inspections - flight line, in-depth, depot-level) of aircraft and components - in accordance with USAF maintenance procedures and in compliance with associated airworthiness approvals.
Basic Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification
High School diploma or equivalent
AND
2 years additional education and related experience
US citizenship
Must possess or be able to quickly obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.
Must possess or be able to quickly obtain a US Passport.
Business or regional jet experience such as Global Express, XRS, Global 6000, CRJ, G-5, G-4, Challenger, etc.
Must be able and willing to work any shift.
Must be able and willing to travel as required by the program to include international travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current US Passport
Experience in connector repair, wire harness manufacture, and in-depth electronic and electrical troubleshooting.
Adept at using electronic and electrical troubleshooting tools beyond the use of a simple meter.
Experienced in
altimeter/transponderchecks utilizing pitot-static and transponder test equipment.
RVSM certified and knowledgeable on FAA RVSM guidelines
Experience in flight control and landing gear rigging and operational checks.
Engine run qualification and engine borescope training on Rolls-Royce BR-710
