Job Title: Construction General Laborer

Job Description

Candidates will work with the duct or kitchen cleaning crews to assist crew leaders in clean-up work. You will use different methods and equipment to handle these functions and will travel to various commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings to complete assigned tasks. Cleaning will primarily be done outside the vents, but there may be times when you need to crawl into tight spaces to complete the cleanups. You will meet at the shop daily and then travel to different sites to complete jobs. Overnight travel may be required and is compensated for.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leaders in clean-up work.

• Utilize various methods and equipment for cleaning tasks.

• Travel to commercial facilities, hospitals, and industrial buildings.

• Perform cleaning primarily outside of vents.

• Occasionally crawl into tight spaces to complete cleanups.

• Meet at the shop daily before traveling to different sites.

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of general labor experience.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working on flat rooftops and in smaller spaces.

• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts with schedule changes.

• Mechanically inclined with knowledge of basic hand tools.

• Valid driver's license or state ID.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in air duct or kitchen exhaust fan cleaning.

• Experience with vacuums and power washers.

• Leadership experience or capability to lead crews.

Work Environment

You will work in commercial and industrial environments, both indoor and outdoor. The job involves flexible shifts (7 am-3 pm, 5 pm-1 am, 8:30 pm-4 am) and may include some weekend and overnight travel, which could be up to 30-50%.
