Job Title: Facility Group Leader

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance schedules using IBM Maximo. This role involves ensuring that all maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance, are planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently. The coordinator will collaborate closely with facility management teams to maintain the smooth operation of building systems and infrastructure. This position is essential for ensuring the facilities remain safe, operational, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate maintenance schedules using IBM Maximo.

• Ensure all maintenance activities, including preventative and corrective maintenance, are efficiently planned, scheduled, and executed.

• Collaborate closely with facility management teams to maintain the smooth operation of building systems and infrastructure.

• Ensure the facilities remain safe, operational, and well-maintained.

• Perform 50-50 site operations and facility walking.

• Supervise staff and enforce safety procedures.

• Hold people accountable to metrics, attendance, and customer service standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in data entry and customer service.

• Experience in leadership and schedule planning.

• Experience using IBM Maximo or other asset management software.

• Facilities experience in industrial, hospitals, commercial buildings, etc.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with contract negotiations.

• Experience managing projects.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with possible extended hours. The role involves a mix of site operations and walking the facility. Dress code and other specific work environment details should be clarified during the interview process.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $31.25
