We also offer generous tuition/continuing education reimbursement programs, mentoring opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and Colleague Resource Groups.Job Summary:The Financial Services of Everest Global Services, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Sr. Accountant Analyst to join our Warren, New Jersey office.This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote.Responsibilities include but not limited to: * Review and reconcile agency account receivable. Clear receivables by identifying and resolving outstanding balances with follow-up and coordination with other departments. * Preparation of documents to demonstrate compliance with SOX key controls. * Quarterly Non-Admitted Asset report completion and review. * Review non-payment cancellation and reinstatement processes. * Prepare journal entries using the Oracle Ledger system. * Review current processes and systems. Recommend upgrades or alternative solutions for improvement in efficiency to ensure long-term sustainability. * Provide excellent service to all internal and external stakeholders, which includes. * Creating and presenting A/R to Senior Executives monthly * Partnering with Senior Executives to be the strategic liaison with external Brokers/AgentsQualifications, Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree majoring in accounting, finance or business is required. * Insurance industry experience a plus * Supervisory experience a plus * 5+ years of accounting experience required.Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: * Advanced Excel Skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, PowerPoint presentations) * Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills. * Guidewire Platform knowledge a plus. * Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and improving Microsoft Excel worksheets to efficiently handle large amounts of data. * Strong analytical, problem solving and technical skills. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and be able to multitask in an ever-changing environment. * Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, management, and internal/external customers.Our Culture At Everest, our purpose is to provide the world with protection.
