Job title: Production Supervisor

Department: Production 

Reports to: Plant Manager

Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for processing products to meet established quality specifications and packaging requirements, while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory policies as outlined in our SQF, HAACP, Organic, and Kosher guidelines.

Essential duties:

Ensure compliance of our OSHA, USDA, FDA, SQF, and HAACP policies.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including respect and compliance for GMP's and SOP's.

Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the production process and address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Utilize SAP and other software to perform transaction functions for materials flow.  Train new and existing team members on the operation of all PC's, software, relevant PLC interfaces, and instrumentation, the importance of following work instructions, and provides documentation for training.

Orientate staff, provide corrective actions, conduct annual reviews, ensure training, coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution.

Promote and engage in a culture of safety.

Help the site implement new equipment, develop SOP'
