Salary Range:Starting at $21.00 (pay reviewed after 90 days)

The position will provide accounting support to financial accounting areas, including accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations. This position is responsible for daily general ledger activity and researching discrepancies on accounts. As an Accounting Specialist you will:

• Process the extended balance report providing various departments with balancing information.
• Oversee an external account with Federal Home Loan Bank, and complete necessary daily general ledger activity.
• Reconcile the general ledger suspense account by researching discrepancies and creating entries.

Qualifications Include:

• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent experience required.
• 1+ years accounting or finance experience preferred.
• Personal computer proficiency with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Understanding of balancing procedures.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00
