Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Alteryx Specialist who is passionate about data analytics and business intelligence. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, leveraging your expertise in Alteryx to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Alteryx as the primary tool to design, develop, and implement data analytics workflows, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.
Develop advanced Alteryx workflows and macros for automation, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable insights using Alteryx.
Apply additional skills, such as Power BI, Tableau, or other relevant tools, to enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities for client projects.
Communicate with clients in a professional and client-facing manner, ensuring clear understanding of requirements, project updates, and deliverables.
Perform data manipulation, cleansing, and transformation tasks using Alteryx and other relevant tools.
Implement end-to-end automation processes using Alteryx, with a focus on finance and accounting workflows.
Develop and maintain documentation for Alteryx workflows, including workflow diagrams, data dictionaries, and user guides.
Conduct data quality assessments and implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of the outputs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Alteryx outputs with Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Alteryx and related technologies to continuously enhance technical skills and provide innovative solutions to clients.
Provide technical support and assistance to clients during the implementation and deployment of Alteryx workflows.
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Alteryx Designer, with a deep understanding of Alteryx workflows, formulas, macros, and data integration processes.
Proficiency with Alteryx Server, including the ability to schedule and manage workflows in a server environment.
Experience in automating finance and accounting processes using Alteryx, including reconciliation, reporting, and forecasting workflows.
Advanced knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
Proficiency in SQL, database concepts, and performance tuning for large datasets.
Additional skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau are highly preferred.
Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for advanced data processing and integration.
Familiarity with best practices in data governance and compliance.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients in a professional and client-facing manner.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and remote team setting.
