Robert Half is seeking an experienced and professional AV Services Technician for a well-known and respected law firm. This role will be part of a dynamic Events Support team, dedicated to ensuring flawless audio/visual support for a variety of high-profile events, including virtual client meetings, media events, conferences, and more. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of enterprise-level AV platforms.

The position is Remote, it’s a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with potential to extend or convert to full-time.

Job Details:

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-5pm EST or CST

Duration: 6 months, with extensions and potential FTE conversion

Location: Remote (must reside in EST or CST time zones)

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as part of a 4-person Events Support team, responsible for all AV needs during large-scale virtual events (client meetings, media events, webinars, etc.)

• Process incoming AV support requests

• Collaborate with event stakeholders to recommend appropriate technology platforms

• Conduct dry runs prior to events to ensure equipment is functioning properly

• Provide live event support and manage post-event wrap-up (reports, recordings, etc.)

• Occasionally assist the AV support team managing the Perkins Coie conference center

• Rare travel may be required for in-person retreats (all expenses covered by the company)

  Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of AV Support experience in an enterprise environment

• Hands-on experience with Zoom (primary platform), Webex, and Microsoft Teams

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to support high-profile executives

• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced, live event environments
