FANNIE MAE Capital Markets Transaction Senior Associate (Flexible Hybrid) in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will leverage your skill set to help Capital Markets analyze and report on our Single Family book of business and collaborate with your team and management to establish pricing according to the associated risk of the asset.

The Capital Markets Transaction Senior Associate (Flexible Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
Use your strong business and technical acumen to transform complex mortgage data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision making within the Single-Family Capital Markets group.
Collaborate with various departments to analyze and report on mortgage market trends, develop performance metrics, and help synthesize data-driven solutions that align with our mission.
Create, maintain, and enhance the ability to deliver ad hoc requests along with BAU reporting needs and data requests for internal and external stakeholders.
Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn new tools and concepts.
Manage ad hoc and scheduled business needs efficiently.

- Bachelor degree or equivalent
Skills
Demonstrated agility in a fast-paced environment with a strong ownership mindset and ability to execute on ad hoc analysis while managing medium to long-term deliverables/projects.
Capacity to assess data critically, identify anomalies, and creatively devise solutions to challenges and identify new opportunities.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with an innate ability to combine their technical proficiency in data analysis tools and attention to detail to communicate complex data findings for non-technical stakeholders.
Experience and understanding of the housing finance ecosystem- loan origination processes, secondary mortgage markets, mortgage-backed securities, and underwriting standards.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business value.
Provide technical support for BI tools and systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Tools
Skilled in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI.
Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R for advanced data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
Experience with database systems and data warehousing solutions to efficiently store, retrieve, and manage large data sets.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Powerpoint, Sharepoint.
