Oracle Deputy Consulting Program/ Project Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description

Oracle GDI Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Consulting Deputy Program/ Project Manager with IC experience.

This is a full time in office position in Reston, VA

Career Level - M3

Responsibilities

As a Deputy PM you will be responsible for the following :

  • Support PM on various contracts on all ad-hoc tasks on daily basis

  • Prepare monthly Technical Status Reports on assigned projects

  • Update financial workbooks on weekly basis for each projects. Conduct analysis weekly to determine impact to forecast and other issues.

  • Provide updates to PM daily on on-going tasks/activities

  • Coordinate with Security to complete monthly contract security roster

  • Maintain contract GFE inventory in coordination with the team and COTR

  • Update contract PMO deliverables as needed

  • Support PM in developing quarterly forecasts (revenue and FTEs). Gather all data from the organization ahead of time to develop the forecast

  • Prepare for Program Management Reviews on each project (PowerPoint slides and financials working with each project lead)

  • Assist PM in preparing proposals and funding profiles for new work and changes to existing work

  • Review modifications to the contract, identify funding allocation and update financial workbook for each Mod

  • Track and validate all invoices to be submitted monthly by project and contract. Coordinate with PM, COTR and business analyst on all invoices to be approved. Update financial workbook for invoices submitted and approved by Customer

  • Prepare other reports as required on the contract and maintain contract related information

  • Update the Contract portal on customer network as required

  • Assist PM in resolving personnel, customer and project issues.

  • Learn Oracle policies and procedures related to acquisitions and internal business operations.

What you will bring (Preferred qualifications)

  • Must have a thorough understanding or experience with budget management/financial management and/or experience as a Business Analyst.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to gather critical information, troubleshoot issues, and identify effective solutions to issues related to projects, personnel, customers, etc.

  • Experienced with hands on technical implementations in various areas such as system development work, or data engineering.

  • Must be detailed oriented, ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel through the day and prioritize tasks working with stakeholders and PM.

  • Performance driven in meeting deadlines and deliverables as required by management and customers.

  • Must have a proactive mindset to drive effective project planning and task completion.

  • Must communicate frequently with PM and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed on timely basis

  • Willing to learn new Oracle technology at high level

  • Willing to learn Oracle procedures/policies related to program execution, proposal development and support all types of business operations on the program

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI eligibility with Poly required.

US: Hiring Range: from $106,100 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
