As an Executive Administrative Assistant to the VP of Global Government & Public Affairs, you will complete a wide broad range of administrative and operational tasks that facilitate the executive’s ability to optimally own the globally dispersed team. The ideal candidate will be able to exercise good judgment in various situations, maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities, and have strong administrative, organization, and verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with executives and key partners, while maintaining a high level of integrity, tact, and subtlety is paramount!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide heavy administrative and operational support to the executive and be adaptable to emails/texts/phone calls, with contact outside regular business hours.

  • Lead sophisticated travel arrangements and calendars (including coordinating with other calendars), and schedule and prioritize meetings.

  • Develop a deep understanding of business priorities and proactively own the executive’s time in a way that promotes productivity and efficiency.

  • Work closely with the executive to keep them informed of and prepared for upcoming commitments, following up appropriately.

  • Schedule, prepare materials and notes and ensure follow-up for various meetings, including staff meetings, and internal and/or external customer meetings.

  • Lead coordination and submission of travel & expense reports.

  • Coordinate, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure any action is promptly addressed.

  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, announcements, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents supporting objectives for the organization.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners on all matters pertaining to the executive, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature, including providing calendar and general administrative support when company executives are visiting the Washington, DC office location.

  • Prioritize and resolve appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgment to reflect the executive’s style and organization policy.

  • Represent the company and the executive in a positive light through excellent follow-through skills and good judgment.

  • Lead confidential matters with a high level of sensitivity and discretion, especially matters directly related to the team’s global priorities.

  • Develop and maintain strong company-wide relationships, including with administrative and executive team members.

  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s policies and procedures.

  • Lead and support the Washington, DC office location.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Excellent time management, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Consistent track record of effectively working with executives and across departments.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with ambiguity and shifting gears at a moment’s notice.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of modern teamwork and product efficiency, Zoom, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

  • Prefer experience in a Congressional office, agency role, trade association or previous company on a government relations team.

  • Prefer experience working with executives in a global capacity.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$51.50 - $82.75

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
