ManpowerGroup Facilities Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia
Position: Facilities Coordinator
Duration: 4 months (High possibility for extension and conversion)
Location: Northwest, Washington, DC
Shift: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18 to $22/hr
About the Role:
As a Facilities Coordinator, you will collaborate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure the timely completion of facility tasks and work orders.
This role is part of the Facilities Management functional area, focusing on the operations of assets and providing support to the Contract Supervisor in client vehicle fleet management and facility coordination.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with client representatives and fleet service providers to ensure the implementation and recognition of all procedures, policies, and reporting formats.
Acknowledge and process client inquiries and work orders.
Compile information and reports to assess performance and progress.
Maintain records, including work orders, proposals, department files, and vendor-submitted documentation related to fleet and operational needs.
Monitor external activities, such as waste disposal and recycling, to ensure compliance.
Respond to client inquiries or complaints, co-workers, and supervisors with professionalism and clarity.
Follow instructions, read correspondence or memos, and seek clarification when needed.
Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures, with limited discretion.
Perform duties with close supervision, ensuring output aligns with defined processes and methods.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of job-related experience preferred.
Valid Driver's License.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Communication skills to effectively exchange information.
Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
Ability to follow established work routines and standards.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Vehicle Fleet Management.
