The Joint Commission Membership Coordinator in Washington, District Of Columbia
Overview
The membership logistics coordinator works as an integral member of the NQF membership team to provide detailed logistical support for NQF committee, panel, and membership meetings and the committee and panel nomination process including scheduling, Invitation tracking, and inbox management.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support across membership programs.
Schedule in-person and virtual meetings with current and prospective members and key stakeholders.
Support NQF’s webinars including managing registration, and day-off technical support
Support NQF’s nomination process including managing incoming applications and preparing reports for staff and leaderships.
Provide operational support in drafting meeting minutes for team meetings or external calls.
Assist with team efforts for data entry or importing data in IMIS.
Monitoring and assist responding to messages in the general information and membership inboxes.
Participate in member onboarding email efforts to ensure effective onboarding processes are in place.
Assist with team efforts to document database best practices and procedures.
Work with internal teams to maintain committee rosters and other relevant programmatic details.
Develop collaborative and trusting working relationships with team members, key staff, and senior leadership to determine how membership can support the work of other NQF teams to improve Member engagement and increase retention.
Provide outstanding Member care and customer service in all circumstances and work to provide a positive and professional work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
Education/Certification:
Minimum of one year’s experience in trade associations or non-profit organization; 2 years’ experience preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Experience and proficiency with association management systems, and Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in notetaking and drafting portions of PowerPoint deliverables/materials and proficiency with developing portions of written deliverables/material
Proficiency in project, product, or operational process support and coordination
Experience supporting event logistics
Proficiency in notetaking and drafting portions of PowerPoint deliverables/materials and proficiency with developing portions of written deliverables/material
Ability to operate with increasing independence and complete tasks efficiently
Ability to recommend solutions and process improvements
Agility and mastery of adapting to and supporting changing needs of an organization, conditions, and work responsibilities
Ability to work effectively with teams and with a collaborate work style
Effective oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated proficiency in preparing accurate and quality written and visual presentations
