The Recruiter deploys a deep understanding of Tatte’s purpose, essence, mission, and values to help us grow our team at all levels of the organization. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, they are responsible for sourcing, attracting, actively recruiting, evaluating, retaining, hiring, and onboarding qualified candidates, and implementing overall talent acquisition strategies/initiatives. They are a dedicated and strategic partner to our support and operations teams, supporting them by anticipating and identifying staffing needs, navigating all recruiting challenges, and supporting succession planning. Summary of Responsibilities
Develop, nurture, and sustain strong relationships with all internal clients
Actively recruit new team members (hourly, manager, and support) in partnership with operations and support teams
Evaluate candidates for hourly, manager, and support roles, including through in-person and virtual interviews
Counsel and support to internal clients throughout the entire recruiting process up to and including onboarding and onboards new team members (as needed)
Train hiring managers about all aspects of the recruiting cycle
Develop and implement diverse sourcing strategies by business, market, and position
Support with salary negotiations and draft offer letters for candidates
Track and monitor applicant tracking system data to manage internal client expectations, create an excellent candidate experience, and obtain results aligned with Tatte’s mission, core values, and business objectives
Support employer branding initiatives
Build, nurture, and grow relationships with industry, affinity, and workforce development organizations
Work in partnership with operations and L&D on internal pipeline and succession planning efforts to identify external talent needs and action plans relative to those needs
Assist and support with refinement, implementation, and validation of application and interviewing policies and procedures
Work cross functionally with L&D, Operations, and other departments to curate an amazing onboarding experience for new team members
Track and monitor data to measure success (staffing to par, turnover, cost-per-hire, bench strength, etc.)
Conduct background and reference checks as needed
Ensure that all talent acquisition and employment activities comply with applicable law and Tatte policies
Stay informed about relevant industry trends
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions / Essential Functions
Must be able to sit and/or stand for at least 8 hours per day
Ability to read and speak English
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
Must be able to work in small and occasional crowded spaces (while in an operations environment)
Position Requirements
Depending on organizational need, 1-5 years of experience recruiting hourly, manager, and support/corporate employees (hospitality industry recruiting experience strongly preferred)
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Forms, etc)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Customer service-oriented
Detail-oriented and organized
Takes initiative and is driven to perform at a high level
Ability to anticipate and manage rejection gracefully and with empathy
Ability to project manage, and set and meet deadlines
Ability to prioritize and act with urgency when needed
Ability to understand problems and support devising solutions for the short, medium and long term
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently and nimbly
Ability to visit different Tatte work locations (cafes, bakeries, catering kitchens, etc.)
Lives in market(s) that recruiter supports
Preferred Skills or Qualifications
Prior experience with UltiPro (highly preferred)
Project management experience
Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, or French
Experience in payroll, performance management, and employee relations
PHR or SPHR certification
