Job Description

Insight Global is looking to hire a Senior Network Engineer in the Washington, DC, area. On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be responsible for the following:

 Administering, supporting, and maintaining network capabilities, including wide and local area networks.

 Performing operations and support activities.

 Evaluating network changes for operational impact.

 Evaluating network performance and resolving network and connectivity problems.

 Managing local area network performance and troubleshooting problems.

 Maintaining Network infrastructure in accordance with STIG guidelines.

 Using Excel spreadsheets to maintain records.

We can pay $75 - $78 per hour and $180-187k depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of Network Administration/Engineering experience

- Demonstrated professional experience with Cisco technologies

- Good understanding of Layer 1 and 2 troubleshooting and technologies

- Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience - Cisco certifications(CCNA, CCNP) null
