The Technology Specialist 4 provides advanced technical leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT and OT systems. This role is responsible for managing multiple interconnected systems with advanced configurable integrations, ensuring optimal performance, interoperability, and security. The Technology Specialist 4 leads the planning and execution of complex projects, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of complex IT and OT systems, focusing on advanced configurable integrations.

  • Independently develops and refines automation tools, scripts, and configurations for complex systems.

  • Provides strategic guidance on system architecture, performance optimization, and security enhancements.

  • Manages own tasks and provides technical and operational leadership to others.

  • Leads the planning and execution of complex implementation, maintenance, and reconfiguration projects.

  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex functional, performance, and security issues across multiple technologies.

  • Develops and executes detailed testing and commissioning procedures for interconnected systems.

  • Leads technical demonstrations and provides authority on technical solution implementation and performance details.

  • Guides the development of lifecycle plans and procedures and process improvements for the organization.

Qualifications

  • Requires 12 or more years of experience with installation, troubleshooting and/or testing of electronic security systems

  • 12+ years of experience with a High School Diploma 10+ years of experience with an Associate's

  • 7+ years of experience with a Bachelors

  • Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer

Desired Qualifications:

  • Vendor certifications for electronic systems Hirsch, BOSCH, Aiphone, Commend equipment knowledge Analog and Digital Video equipment knowledge and experience CAD experience on building typical and installation packets for field use

  • Ability to write SOP's for MATOC (ESS Install) projects

  • Ideally has system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and system extensions

Abilities:

  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

  • Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

Pay Range

USD $124,880.00 - USD $187,320.00 /Yr.
