UPMC Accounting Analyst, Associate in Washington, Pennsylvania
Purpose:
Assist with accounting and analytical activities associated with maintaining general ledger accounts and developing financial statements and reports. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts and projections.
Responsibilities:
Assist in information gathering for various required management reports.
Create accounting analytics for internal and external reporting requirements.
Prepare general ledger account reconciliations for designated accounts. Propose correcting entries.
Interpret financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
Assist in administrative tasks or special projects as needed.
Prepare and post basic monthly journal entries.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related business field required.
OR High School Diploma/GED with two years of related work experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office spreadsheet applications and PeopleSoft General Ledger preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Act 34 (with renewal)
