Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our manufacturing facility in Washington, Pennsylvania. Our Electrical Maintenance Technicians are part of a highly skilled team that is critical to ensuring equipment and systems are fully operational for continuous production and to consistently meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment and systems including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLCs, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission, pumps, cranes, mobile equipment, etc.

  • Quickly learn our manufacturing equipment/systems and our maintenance program.

  • Troubleshoot and determine corrective actions, installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of electrical and electronic systems.

  • Follow all safety practices and rules to ensure equipment is operating in a safe manner.

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and emergency electrical maintenance on a variety of electrical and electronic systems.

  • Implement process improvements and methods that will increase effectiveness and efficiencies.

  • Use standard and specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to properly assess and troubleshoot issues.

  • Interpret electrical schematics, understand technical manuals, and follow written instructions.

  • Maintain accurate records of projects including machine assembly, start-up, and installation.

  • Participate in daily meetings, prioritizing and reviewing the daily schedule of work.

  • Operate forklifts, man lifts, cranes, etc.

Essential Skills

  • 2 Years of Industrial Maintenance experience

  • Experience working with motors, controls, power supplies, and AC/DC Theory

  • Experience working with Power distribution, VFDs, and PLCs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a variety of plant areas/departments and environmental conditions (hot, cold, dirty, etc.).

  • Ability to perform work at various heights and within some confined spaces.

  • Willingness to work overtime, including other shifts and weekends.

  • Successful completion of an electrical maintenance skills assessment as part of pre-employment.

Work Environment

Our client performs a variety of steel manufacturing procedures and operates one of the world's most powerful mills in their Brackenridge plant. The work involves hot rolling and processing, and the environment is industrial. You will work Monday-Friday on a rotating shift every week, with shifts starting at 6 AM, 2 PM, and 10 PM. Overtime is available after 8 hours each day, with additional shift premiums and production bonuses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Washington, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57345.60 - $110000.00

Washington Plants:

• Insurance:

o Medical, dental, and vision coverage.

o $0 coverage premiums – Employees will not see anything deducted from their paychecks for any of these 3 coverages.

o Employees are only responsible for copays and deductibles.

 Copays: Between $20-$50, depending on what it’s applied to.

 Deductibles: $500 for Individual Coverage; $1,000 for Family Coverage.

o Provider: Blue Cross Blue Shield Highmark.

• Retirement:

o ATI contributes $3.15 to the employee’s 401K for every hour that they work (both standard and OT hours count).

This is a fully onsite position in Washington,PA.
