Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Carpentry Laborer to assist in various carpentry projects, ranging from residential remodels to new constructions. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a related field and a willingness to learn and expand their skills. We are happy to train an individual that is willing / wanting to learn the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled carpenters in various tasks, including framing, drywall installation, and finish work.
• Perform painting, staining, and sealing of surfaces as needed.
• Help with site preparation, including measuring, cutting, and shaping materials.
• Load and unload materials and tools, ensuring the work area is organized and safe.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in carpentry or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation to travel between job sites in Anchorage and Talkeetna.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced carpenters.
