JOB REQUIREMENTS: Material Handler 1st Shift: 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)-Arlington and Waunakee, WI 2nd Shift: 3:30p.m.-2:30 a.m. (Monday-Thursday)-Waunakee, WI Job Overview: Material Handler Endres Manufacturing is looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler for our Structural Department in both our Arlington and Waunakee, WI locations and a 2nd shift Material in our Waunakee location. Material Handlers are responsible for all material handling needs, primarily using overhead cranes to move Structural Steel. The Material Handler will be required to achieve company standards for safety, quality, and productivity. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the Structural department Verify contents of material received under purchase orders Report shortages, damages, and incorrect shipments on appropriate forms and to designated personnel Ensure proper rotation and organization of stock and participate in physical inventories Ability to prioritize and meet scheduling demands Loads and unloads freight in a safe manner. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Makes certain all equipment needed for handling and moving of goods is available and in safe working condition. Properly uses assigned personal protective equipment Ensures the proper use of equipment and execution of projects Learning how to operate different machines and processes involved with the production Perform all job duties adhering to company safety policies Perform all assigned activities to support the business objectives/needs ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Job Requirements: Operate hand tools, forklifts and overhead cranes Drives forklift, loads and unloads trucks, to include structural steel Stores materials and supplies in proper storage locations Ability to identify and resolve basic problems Strong ability to work alone or with little supervision Excellent knowledge of safety methods and hazard regulations Team interaction and good communication skills High school or general education degree (GED) required Working Conditions/Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, kneel, bend, twist and reach Use of hands and fingers required to manipulate machine and other tools Must be able to stand and walk constantly Must be able to grip, grasp, push, pull, reach and stoop Must be able to lift/carry products to 50 lbs. at varying frequencies Bending/Twisting: Must be able to bend at the waist, flexing knees, and twist body to perform some tasks ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: endres@endresmfg.com Apply Online: www.endresmfg.com
