Aerotek Field Technician in Waxahachie, Texas

Description:

Contractors will go to current customer sites and request to install a CO2 monitor onsite. This is light voltage work similar to installing a fire alarm This position is open due to the new regulations passed on CO2. They provide CO2 restaurants, gas stations, and various other clients. This position will be installing monitors directly to the systems. Very simple to install using CAT 5 cabling (cables used in the back of a work phone). Contractors will not be working in residential areas. They will be working in a commercial area.

Experience Pluses:

Any low voltage or light electrical experience. The installs are very simple and can be picked up in a day by anyone with handy DIY skills. Experience driving for work would be helpful, they will drive around town a lot.

Computer Experience:

Needs to be able to use a smartphone for GPS and take pictures of their installation and the location. Also, need to be able to use Aerotek expenses and document mileage appropriately for payout.

Minimum experience:

2 years of experience in light construction or mechanical or electrical knowledge

Reliable transportation that can get them through 400 miles a week

Posses the tools (attached) and ladder needed for work

Experience documenting work with cell phone

Ability to interface with customers and explain their purpose at the site
