• Mechanical superintendent provides on-site administrative oversight & technical management of field related construction activities (scheduling, engineering, material control , etc...) for high voltage, electric substation construction EPC projects.

• Directing construction and repair operations, supervising the activities of various systems, preparing cost estimates for various projects, training staff, and implementing safety standards

• Maintains and repairs plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems. Inspects high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions. Repairs or replaces plumbing fixtures, tests joints and pipe systems.

• Ensure all on-site personnel comply with safety procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, Document all violations, notify project management, and recommend/implement corrective actions as required

• relevant degree such as Bachelor's and University Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technical, Construction, Education, Mechanical Engineering, Education and Training, Supervision, Industrial, Science

• Desired experience for mechanical superintendent includes:

• Requires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and entering plant equipment to access, inspect, or collect data on plant equipment

• Classification Society and Flag Administration

• Oversight and coordination of Electrical and Controls subcontractor activities for an operational industrial facility performing renovations, and build outs on existing structures on Greenfield projects

• Experience in a management role over Electrical and Controls subcontractors on an industrial facility projects required

• 5 + years of experience in industrial construction and/or Manufacturing

• Supervise mechanical installation activities related to pressure vessels, towers and tanks, heat exchangers, rotating equipment and mineral processing equipment such as ball mill, material handling equipment such as belt conveyor, and to ensure that work is done in accordance with Contract requirements, specific Manufacturer"s instructions and Project procedures
