This position offers a minimum of one eight-hour shift per pay period or one weekend shift per month, with shifts that may be days, evenings, or nights. One holiday per year is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Excellence : Perform imaging procedures independently, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

• Standardization Activities : Participate in system-level workgroups to standardize practices.

• Quality Assurance : Assist with QA, regulatory testing, and other technical initiatives.

• Training and Mentorship : Help train staff and student technologists, sharing your expertise.

• Flexibility : Work within different clinical areas to support departmental needs, maintaining effective communication with supervisors and managers.

• Advanced Competency : Demonstrate proficiency in specialty equipment and analyze data promptly.

• Patient Care : Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to the latest protocols and procedures.

• Team Collaboration : Work closely with Radiologists on protocol development and ensure excellent communication with all team members.

Qualifications:

• Certifications : Primary ARRT certification in Radiology and secondary ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT ® and (CT)).

• Requirements for Advanced Multi-Skill Level:

• Educational Background : Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program.

• Experience : At least 2 years of experience in a primary specialty.

• Certifications : Must hold a registry in each specialty.

• Performance : Must have received a strong/solid/good rating on the most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.

• Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• ARRT Certification : Certified as a CT Technologist with active certification in a second specialty.

• Dual Competency : Must maintain 2 imaging registries/certifications and demonstrate competency in both as required by the hiring Business Unit.

• Flexibility : Willingness to be assigned to any of the maintained registries by leadership.

• CPR Certification : Required based on AHA standards, including both a didactic and skills demonstration component, to be completed within 30 days of hire.

• Required Certifications:

• ARRT Certificate

• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
