Communications Specialist

Serve Wenatchee is a Christian, faith-based organization located in North Central Washington that provides compassionate care to those struggling on the margins in our community.

The Intake Specialist reports directly to the Operations Director, performing case management duties. This is 32+ hour per week position. Following a 6-month probationary period, the position will be reviewed as needed to adjust duties and responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Under the direction of the Operations Director, interview and assess the appropriateness of new client intakes for services at Serve Wenatchee Valley.

Develop case plans with each new client, treating each client respectfully, and following up with case plan reviews to help client reach identified goals.

Maintain client files confidentially in compliance with stated Serve Wenatchee policies and procedures.

Consistently update client information and services in File Maker database.

Work with Executive Director to maintain and expand communications strategies, manage website, create newsletter and direct mailers, and manage and update social media.

Connect the client with the services and resources Serve Wenatchee directly provides.

Connect clients with additional resources in the Wenatchee Valley from other partner service providers to add additional support to meet their needs and goals.

Enthusiastically work within Serve Wenatchee's stated mission, vision, and values and the Serve Wenatchee Code of Conduct.
