We are seeking hire for the following:

Production Supervisor on 3rd shift. Base pay with a 7.5%shift premium.

Hours worked would be 10:15pm - 7:15am, Sunday - Thursday. Overtime as needed.

Job Duties

• Provide leadership and direction to production employees which includes attendance management and performance management. Hand out daily job travelers to employees.
• Be visible and assume leadership in continuous improvement ensuring new associate training considering job procedures, quality, health and safety.
• Responsible for new process set up and tear down.
• Verbally and by completing the Production Lead reports, communicate with other Production Supervisors in matters relating to production and quality.
• Investigate, report and take corrective action to address identified unsafe acts or conditions.
• Comply with OSHA requirements and take every reasonable precaution reasonable for the protection of workers. Ensure all nonconforming product is handled as per the Nonconforming Material Procedure.
• Ensure associates follow all rules and codes of conduct including incident/accident reporting, documentation and proper care.
• Ensure employees are following all rules of conduct as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Complete performance review in a timely manner for hourly associates.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required. Post secondary education preferred.
• Must have experience in production and / or manufacturing environment
• Familiar with IATF 16949 requirements.
• Demonstrated organizational, communication and computer skills.
• Previous supervisory or management role and problem-solving skills is a must.
• Experience with robotics, would be an asset.
• Must have blueprint reading knowledge
• Knowledge in Health and Safety legislative requirements and housekeeping practices
• Maintain a valid driver's license
