Description

We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Operations Support Assistant in the manufacturing industry, located in West Chicago, Illinois, United States. In this role, you will provide critical support to customer service representatives and other departments, ensuring the smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer orders.

• Use demand plans to assess inventory requirements.

• Maintain precise records.

• Verify the accuracy of entered orders and check product availability.

• Assist with order entry, including the creation of new orders and modification of existing ones.

• Coordinate with branches, customers, salespeople, and other departments on new orders, order statuses, products, shipments, and other related matters.

• Generate batch tickets for products as required.

• Provide support to other departments as needed.

• Assist with inventory activities.

Requirements

• Applicant must have a background in the manufacturing industry.

• Prior experience in the role of Operations Support Assistant is preferred.

• Proficiency in Order Entry is crucial for this role.

• Must be skilled in Data Entry.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must have a proactive approach to tasks and be a team player.
