Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Staff Accountant, based in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. This role is an integral part of our team, with a focus on intercompany accounting. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and processing financial information, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

• Carrying out bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintaining the general ledger and conducting regular updates

• Preparing and posting journal entries as part of the accounting process

• In charge of some month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date

• Handling intercompany accounting tasks, ensuring all transactions and balances between our different entities are accurate and reconciled

• Managing intercompany transactions, ensuring that all financial transactions between our different entities are properly recorded and reconciled.

Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Demonstrated ability in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of the General Ledger management

• Proven skills in creating accurate Journal Entries

• Experience in performing Month End Close activities

• Knowledge of Intercompany Accounting practices

• Ability to handle Intercompany Transactions efficiently
