Material Handler II - Shipping and Receiving Role

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the flawless shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment of finished goods, inventory, materials, consumables, parts, and equipment at our assigned facility. Your exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our internal and external customers receive accurate products in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and accurately process items for receipt, storage, and/or shipment.

  • Safely operate distribution equipment.

  • Sustain a high level of quality to meet internal and external customer requirements.

  • Complete Thermo Fisher Scientific training requirements and adhere to ISO standards.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 0-2 years related experience.

  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and instructions consistently and independently.

  • Proficiency in operating powered industrial trucks and basic computer skills.

Working Conditions

You will work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures, including room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room. This role involves physical tasks of a highly repetitive nature, including walking, standing, reaching, and lifting between 15-80 lbs on a continuous basis. Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $15.85–$23.77.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
