Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in West Liberty, Kentucky. The individual will be a part of a team in the industry, expected to manage accounts payable and payroll operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process supplier invoices.

• Maintain a detailed record of all transactions.

• Conduct a monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.

• Strictly adhere to the PO system for invoices exceeding $250.

• Ensure all payments are approved and within budgeted amounts.

• Manage all aspects of payroll preparation excluding W-2s and 1099s.

• Efficiently handle payroll tax reporting.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks.

• Engage in data entry tasks.

• Handle check runs and invoice processing. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices

• Experience with check runs

• Knowledge and experience in coding invoices

• Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors

• Proficient in invoice processing

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and complex formulas

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal

• Degree in Finance, Business or related field is preferred.
