Primary Purpose

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will lead, coach, and support recruiters and hiring teams, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and fostering a culture of proactivity within the talent acquisition process. This newly created position will play a vital role in building an in-house recruiting team and driving a collaborative, efficient hiring strategy. The role will work closely with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition to design, implement, and execute recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals.

Essential Functions

Team Leadership

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the talent acquisition team to ensure KPI targets are achieved.

  • Provide daily support to troubleshoot challenges, ensuring adherence to proper processes and protocols.

  • Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to recruiters and hiring managers to elevate team capabilities.

Business Partnership

  • Maintain strong relationships with hiring managers through regular check-ins and participation in recruitment calls.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and HR Directors to ensure they have the necessary information to meet business needs.

Metrics and Reporting

  • Oversee the effective use of iCIMS to capture accurate recruitment data and generate actionable insights.

  • Manage recruitment advertising strategies and track return on investment (ROI).

Candidate Experience

  • Drive improvements in the candidate experience by ensuring a smooth, engaging, and professional recruitment process.

  • Recruit for leadership and other roles as needed.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

  • Champion DEI initiatives by ensuring sourcing practices reach a diverse candidate pool and hiring processes promote inclusivity.

Develop and Execute Recruitment Strategy

  • Partner with the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement comprehensive hiring strategies that align with organizational objectives.

Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with all regulations governing hiring and selection processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field; or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience:

  • 10 years of talent acquisition experience.

  • 3 years of management experience in talent acquisition.

  • 2 years of experience leading/managing through change.

  • 1 year of experience recruiting CDL drivers strongly preferred.

  • Outstanding time management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related software tools.

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize, and manage workload effectively under pressure.

  • Sound judgment and initiative to accomplish responsibilities in a timely manner.

  • Knowledge of state and federal laws related to recruitment and employment practices.

At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.

Salary Range

$105,000.00 – $132,000.00 / year
