1 Job Locations Remote - U.S. Category Accounting and Finance Overview The Financial Reporting Analyst IV is responsible for the accurate and timely generation and distribution of all financial statements and reports to both internal and external users. *Eastern or Central time zone working hours What you will be doing Prepare the most complex and high-risk monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial reports, GAAP and pro forma, applying expertise and significant best practice knowledge Provide leadership, vision and direction for the most complex financial reviews Manage and provide support to management, legal and external auditors; assign work to the team and ensure successful completion Identify relevant, new accounting standards; ensure successful implementation of the new guidance and communicate impact of the new guidance to senior leadership and others within accounting & finance Research, prepare and deliver the most complex accounting disclosures and presentations Evaluates various financial opportunities, such as due diligence of acquisitions and mergers Manage and identify the completeness and relevancy of policies and procedures related to financial reporting; address gaps in documentation and ensure such policies and procedures remain current Identify, research and resolve the most complex financial reporting issues; work with internal and external auditors and consultants to properly document conclusions Create and maintain reports in financial reporting systems Operate as an innovative thought leader and independently implement effective and successful changes to processes or methodology Mentor, coach and train other team members Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland's Information Systems Security Policy What will make you successful Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Significant experience in public accounting or corporate reporting, managing the most complex and high risk situations Significant experience applying knowledge of GAAP, financial statements and internal controls Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking Demonstrated ability to operate at the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and forthrightness Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills Excellent collaborative skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas Detail oriented; regularly verifies all work thoroughly and efficiently to ensure accuracy Demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences Experience providing guidance and support to developing team members Up to 10% travel time required Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job Based on individual states' employment laws, the following details are to comply with the relevant salary posting requirements: base salary range of $84,000-$120,000 and eligible for bonus and benefits What you can expect next Hyland Recruiters thoroughly review every application and will contact you within 1 to 2 weeks regarding next steps.
