Charles Schwab and Company, Inc. is hiring a(n) Manager, Software Development and Engineering (ref. Code 2025-106875 in Westlake, TX.

Duties: Apply technology and Institutional business knowledge to support the Advisor Services (AS) Conversion Program and the future evolution of the AS platform. Focus on database architecture, development, AS batch and production support for AS applications. In-depth understanding of financial transactions to manage and develop 3rd party custodial feeds. Lead and support the delivery of complex OLTP and OLAP database solutions. Ensure optimal database design and production support capabilities based on DBMS engines for high volume/complex trading systems addressing database normalization concepts, concurrency control, and isolations levels. Lead and support agile software development practices. Support and enhance existing SDLC practices to increase quality and productivity. Position allows for 100% remote work. Reports to company HQs in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwabs internal approach to workplace flexibility.

REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 72 months (6 years) of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will accept a 3-year Bachelors degree or 4-year Bachelors degree. Related skills may be required.
