We are looking for a Construction Manager for our Westminster, Colorado location. As a Construction Manager, you will support the Project Manager and Field Technicians on various construction projects. You will plan, budget, schedule, organize, and oversee these projects to ensure they are completed successfully. You will also maintain close contact with clients and monitor construction and financial activities to ensure everything is set up and completed properly.

Salary: $105,000-$130,000 per year, paid semi-monthly

Essential Duties:
Understand and maintain high installation standards.
Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion.
Ensure equipment, materials, tools, and staff are procured and delivered on time.
Support preconstruction activities like bid and spec reviews, interviews, and quotations.
Conduct regular site visits as needed.
Serve as an industry expert on design, installation, and construction processes.
Mentor and train project managers and field staff on construction and industry standards.
Provide direction to field staff on task management.
Act as a liaison between architects, contractors, and owners.
Lead team training sessions and create training content.
Manage subcontractors.
Ensure field teams comply with all processes and procedures.
Comply with and promote all company safety policies.
Review and manage contracts.
Plan and schedule resources with the superintendent and foreman to meet project goals.
Manage and ensure the accuracy of change orders.
Assist in maintaining accurate project financial reports with the project manager.
Evaluate project costs to ensure they stay on or under budget, updating monthly.
Oversee purchase orders, project closeouts, and other necessary documentation.
Oversee purchase orders and material requests for all project sizes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
Degree in Construction Management or Construction Engineering Management, OR 15+ years of industry experience.
5+ years of Lenel security software experience
Access Control Supervisors License with the City and County of Denver.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and Office.
Proficient in construction-related software like Blue Beam, Procore, and Accubid.
In-depth knowledge of International Building Codes (Chapter 10).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Comprehensive understanding of construction methods and scheduling.
Ability to maintain good relationships with customers and employees.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong accounting skills and financial understanding.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
The physical activity for this role includes:
Site visits in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold weather
Walking and standing for periods of time
Move about, in, and around construction sites and equipment.
Manual dexterity, computer and other equipment use
Pass a standard background check and drug screening.
