POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION This is a responsible technical, supervisory, and administrative position in the maintenance and repair of vehicular equipment in the Fleet Management Division. Work involves coordinating, planning, organizing, supervising, and evaluating semi-skilled and skilled personnel engaged in maintaining the City's fleet of vehicles. Responsibilities also include general maintenance of repair facilities, environmental review for shop, and assuring an inventory of necessary parts and supplies. Must be available for on-call emergencies. This is a safety sensitive position.

Required:

Graduation from high school or GED Five (5) years of mechanical experience at the journeyman level Two (2) years of supervisory experience Possess the C-1, ASE Service Consultant Certification Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record Ability to pass required DOT physical every two (2) years Preferred:

Bachelor's degree NAFA certification; CAFF, or CAFM
