Position Description:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (TAC) will report to the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager (TADM). This position supports all Region-specific talent acquisition efforts. The TAC will support the sourcing the best available, qualified talent for current and future business requirements, including supporting the development, coordination, and maintenance of regional talent acquisition/recruiting processes and programs.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent education and experience required.
1-3 years job-related experience as a talent acquisition or recruiting professional.
Demonstrated experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
Experience working collaboratively and effectively with managers and directors.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Impeccable attention to detail.
Experience leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems.
Strong observational and analytical skills.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook) and products.
Essential Duties:
Communication: Reviews and assesses applicant resumes, conducts phone interviews, and communicates with candidates daily.
Teamwork: Works collaboratively with Training and Development Manager, Talent Acquisition team, and Corporate HR to support a best-in-class recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Detailed record keeping: Uses proactivity and attention to detail to coordinate and track an extensive amount of applicant data in a timely manner.
Recruiting: Supports a robust, year-round campus recruitment effort, including providing support and maintenance of a sizeable summer internship program.
Diverse responsibilities: Supports both Talent Acquisition team and the Training and Development group. Effectively balances the shared duties and contributes to seamless operations and overall success.
Onboarding Support : Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation and orientation materials.
Ambassador Program: Assist in the improvement, oversight, and development of the new hire mentoring program.
Sourcing: Regularly sourcing qualified and experienced candidates from social media and employment sites.
Supports regional efforts to establish Hensel Phelps as an employer of choice in all areas of the TA process.
Completed other HR duties.
