Position Overview:

As the Supply Chain Planning Analyst youre a key member of the Supply Chain Planning & Execution Team , reporting to a Supply Planning Lead. You will contribute to the success of Ball by providing data analysis supporting the strategic supply planning team. You will perform data transformation and preparation for planning system load and build reporting and visualization in business intelligence and data analytics software to better assess plan data and prepare views driving business conversations.

Your Key Areas of Responsibilities Include:

  • Own system input-template data population, proofing, and submission utilizing excel and JDE

  • Create reporting, visualizations, and KPIs of supply plan outputs in business intelligence software

  • Utilize analytics to drive improvement in operational results and promote effective decision making.

  • Communicate supply plan changes with cross functional partners.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to support cost out initiatives and other network optimization opportunities.

  • Analyze supply plan data and scenario models for accuracy and impact to the business.

  • Assist in converting optimization model from cost minimization to cost maximization.

  • Maintain file organization, process documentation, and team-sites.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain, operations, analytics preferred or equivalent education and experience.

  • Job related experience in a business role in supply chain/logistics, computer science, data analytics, or finance.

  • Working Knowledge in the following:

  • Financial/operational modelling, logistics, Economic Value Added (EVA), strategic business and economic principles and practices.

  • MS Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with data management and visualization tools such as: SQL Queries, Qlik Sense, Tableau and /or Power BI.

  • Demonstrated Skills in all of the following:

  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.

  • Ability to make detailed presentations of financial/operational analysis on variety of business projects for management.

  • Ability to effectively work, present and coordinate activities across departments through verbal and written communications.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: B ased in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.

  • Hiring Salary Range: $64,600-$96,600 (Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
