Experience during the program
Our summer internship program runs for 10 weeks, from late May to early August. Our program offers interns a unique dual experience.
Interns spend half of their time on a team, collaborating with Data & Analytics colleagues and business representatives to work on a real-world project. Past projects centered on areas such as enhancing the customer experience, optimizing business spend, identifying new market opportunities, providing business insights, model development, and engineering metrics & dashboarding. Interns are assigned to projects based on their backgrounds and project locations.
For the remainder of their time, interns are individually partnered with a host team within the analytic community to participate in ongoing work such as data reporting and visualization, data mining, automation and creating dashboards, ad-hoc analysis, and more. This component of the program provides interns with direct exposure to teams in areas that align to their education and interests.
Interns are expected to adopt a hybrid work structure and work out of one of our headquarters in Columbus, OH, Johnston RI, or Westwood, MA.
