Hours:
Overnight Shift: Monday - Thursday - 7pm – 7am
On occasion, it may be required to work outside of these hours to collaborate with management on the other shifts.

Position Summary:
- The plant production supervisor will be responsible for maintaining safety, quality and production in the entire plant while ensuring that all company policies and regulations are being followed properly.
Essential Duties and Tasks (include but are not limited to):
Mentors, coaches, and oversees the work of the team to meet safety, quality, and operational needs.
Oversees and directs all daily production activities of the department by continuously performing department walk throughs throughout shift.
Ensure achievement of safety, quality, and productivity goals for specific department/shift.
Monitor production activity and data to support development of solutions and CI processes as developed/directed by manager.
Assist with implementation and monitoring of CI/Operational Excellence processes.
Responsible for assisting with hiring and ensure quality training of new employees. Actively monitor trainee progress, provide feedback and arrange additional training for employees as needed.
Complete Leadership Standard Work requirements.
Maintain staffing for the department and arrange coverage when needed.
Must monitor and maintain ERP, SSFD Operating system to show data of machines.
Set the example for the shift to follow in areas such as attitude, sense of urgency, cooperation, and relationship with other employees, leads, supervisors and managers.

Qualification | Education | Experience:
Two year Associates degree or higher preferred| business or industry preferred
3+ years of proven success leading a team in a manufacturing setting
Leadership experience with the ability to also work as a team
Ability to perform moderately complex problem analysis & Mechanical aptitude
Solid working knowledge of production processes and related manufacturing
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
