THE POSITION

As aNew Production Lab Lead, you will beresponsible for assisting with the organization and management of technicians, assemblers, inspectors, indirect personnel and crossover of work between other departments.

Youll be providing a critical service for the best customers from all over the world from general, business and commercial aviation. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT

• Assist with training and mentoring New Production lab employees that assemble/repair aircraft components, such astechnical electronic components, parts, equipment, systems, and lithium-ion batteries with MFG specifications and FAA guidelines.
• Responsible for coordinating communication with customers regarding quotations, repairs and delivery.
• Assign and organize orders and ensure scheduled orders are completed on time to meet customer and stock demands.
• Effectively communicate the lab objectives and continually develop means to strengthen employees.
• Perform preliminary inspection on incoming units.
• Evaluate units for potential warranty credit. Report findings to lab manager and technicians.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and schematics, procedures, and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with FAA Part 145 regulations and customer requirements, as required
• Constant handle, feel and manipulation of small objects
• Occasional lift and carry independently up to 50 lbs.
