Aerotek Quality Inspector in Wichita, Kansas

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing both in-process and end-of-line inspections against established criteria for several important pieces of Boeing aircraft, including the fuselage of the 737 and 787.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-process and end-of-line inspections according to established inspection criteria.

  • Ensure quality control and assurance for aircraft components.

  • Inspect and verify the integrity of aircraft sheet metal structures.

Essential Skills

  • 3 years of experience working in manufacturing or as an automotive technician

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with aerospace standards

  • Experience using calibrated inspection tools

  • Experience with quality assurance principles, methods, and processes

  • Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

Work Environment

You will be part of a team of 80 employees working around the clock on all three shifts. Candidates are specifically needed for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM). No overtime is offered during the week, but weekend overtime is available, and it is expected that each individual be open to working at least one day every other weekend.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
